Sustainable Products
for Construction

Explore reusable containment systems, recyclable signage, PVC-free banner materials and Australian-manufactured solutions designed for modern construction environments.

Sustainability Startswith Better Decisions

Australia's construction industry is one of the nation's largest contributors to waste and carbon emissions, creating growing pressure for project teams to reduce environmental impact wherever practical. While every project has different sustainability priorities, the common goal remains the same: delivering safer, more efficient projects with less waste.

At Sitemax, sustainability is about practical action. We support project teams with recyclable products, reusable systems, Australian-manufactured solutions and responsible end-of-life disposal services that help reduce waste and extend product lifecycles. By integrating sustainability alongside safety, compliance and performance, we help customers make informed decisions that contribute to better project outcomes.

Sitemax Spidermesh Containment is reusable and compliant with Australian Standards

Products designed to remain in service for longer through reuse, component replacement and material recovery.

Products manufactured using recyclable materials that support end-of-life recovery.

Operational initiatives that support resource efficiency, waste reduction and responsible manufacturing.

REUSE AND CIRCULARITY

Built for This Project. Designed for the Next.

Spidermesh™ combines a reusable Australian steel frame with a replaceable containment liner, helping reduce unnecessary replacement while maintaining compliance and performance.

Supporting the system are J-Ties, durable galvanised steel containment fixings that can be recovered through established steel recycling streams at end of life.

Together, they provide a more circular approach to scaffold containment.

Proven Across
Multiple Projects

Spidermesh™ is designed for reuse, and many customers report achieving four to five project uses from a single liner before replacement is required.

Rather than replacing the entire containment system, only the liner is changed when necessary, allowing the steel frame to remain in service and continue delivering value across multiple projects.

RECYCLABLE MATERIALS

EnviroBanner™ is a recyclable, PVC-free alternative to traditional banner materials, designed for hoardings, fencing and project branding applications.

Choosing EnviroBanner helps reduce reliance on PVC banners, which contribute an estimated 500 tonnes of landfill waste in Australia each year.

Designed for construction sites, EnviroSign™ provides a 100% recyclable signage solution suitable for safety, directional and project communication applications.

Signage Removal
and Disposal

At the end of a project, construction signage is often overlooked and sent directly to landfill. Our removal and recycling service helps you reduce waste, support ESG commitments and simplify project close-out by ensuring eligible signage is responsibly collected and recycled through approved facilities.

SUSTAINABILITY IN PRACTICE

Operational Initiatives

Sustainability is influenced by more than the products used on a project. It can also be shaped by how those products are manufactured, the resources used during production and the operational practices behind them.

At Sitemax, we continue to invest in initiatives that support resource efficiency, waste reduction and responsible manufacturing across our business.

Solar Powered Energy

Investment in solar power generation helps reduce reliance on grid energy across our manufacturing operations, contributing to an estimated reduction of 7.9 tonnes of carbon emissions per month.

Waste Reduction

We continually review our manufacturing and operational processes to reduce waste, improve material efficiency and support more responsible resource use across our business. Our recycling efforts in FY2024 further prevented 142.8m3 of waste from going to landfill.

Australian Manufacturing

We manufacture many of our products in Australia, helping support local industry and reduce supply chain complexity. Last year, 24% of our revenue came from recyclable products, including 12% made with recycled materials.

Latex Print Technology

Our signage and branding products are printed using HP Latex technology, a water-based printing process that can reduce VOC emissions by up to 70% compared to traditional solvent-based printing methods.

Working in partnership with Greenfleet

We're proud to be part of the fleet, offsetting 110 tonnes of Co2 emissions and reducing our carbon footprint through partnership with Greenfleet - Australia's first carbon offset provider.

Greenfleet has planted enough biodiverse native trees in protected forests to offset these emissions, restoring native forests and ecosystems that serve as crucial habitats for endangered wildlife, helping counter the devastating impact of bushfires and climate change.
