Working in partnership with Greenfleet
We're proud to be part of the fleet, offsetting 108 tonnes of Co2 emissions and reducing our carbon footprint through partnership with Greenfleet - Australia's first carbon offset provider.
Greenfleet has planted enough biodiverse native trees in protected forests to offset these emissions, restoring native forests and ecosystems that serve as crucial habitats for endangered wildlife, helping counter the devastating impact of bushfires and climate change.
The Work Starts at Home
At Sitemax, we're continually improving our manufacturing and office facilities to to be more efficient and environmentally conscious.
Over the past two years, we've made substantial investments in solar-powered technology, installing solar panels across our Head Office and Warehouse based in Gympie, aiding our transition to a more sustainable energy source. This has led to a reduction in our carbon emissions by an estimated 7.9 tonnes per month.

Actively reducing waste through lean practices, recycling, using recycled and recyclable materials in our products, and fostering a paper-free work environment, are just some of the ways we demonstrate our dedication to environmental responsibility.
Reducing Waste
Our choice of Hewlett-Packard (HP) industrial printers utilise environmentally friendly water-based latex inks which are UL ECOLOGO® certified for compliance with stringent human health criteria. They are also GREENGUARD GOLD certified as the inks produce low chemical emissions during indoor use, creating a safer environment for our production team.
Investing in eco-friendly printing technology
We provide Australia’s construction industry with eco-friendly alternatives to traditional PVC vinyl banners and banner mesh. Our EnviroSigns are recyclable and EnviroBanner products are PVC-free, they utilise less resources in manufacturing and can be recycled in Australia. In addition, many of our chain wire containment products are manufactured from recycled and recyclable steel, embodying our commitment to a more sustainable approach.
