The Albany 

Concept

Construction sites can often be an eyesore and a nuisance for neighbours. However, with thoughtful planning, they can transform into valuable branding opportunities that engage stakeholders and capture the interest of the surrounding community while ensuring public safety. Drawing on concepts provided by Boston Projects, Sitemax was tasked with delivering a supply and install solution that would effectively utilise the blank space created by scaffolding on the building's exterior.

Scope

Committed to delivering on Boston Project's objectives, we proposed a custom-printed building wrap to envelop the scaffolding structure. This solution would effectively conceal ongoing construction work and transform the site into a visually appealing display that would generate interest among stakeholders and the community.

Once commissioned for the project, our team worked collaboratively with Boston Projects to supply two design concepts that aligned with their marketing and branding objectives. Once the preferred design was approved, our Artwork Team forged ahead with optimising the graphics for digital print before handing over to our Production Team for printing.

Delivery

For this project, we chose FlameX Select Mesh from our banner mesh range for the building wrap. Flame retardant and AS1576.7 certified for safe use on scaffolding, FlameX Select Mesh offers 80% solidity for high resolution printing and is UV stabilised to withstand the harsh Australian climate, delivering long-lasting vibrancy and durability for extended projects.

Printed on 1.8m x 50m rolls, this building wrap was delivered direct to site for installation.
