FAQs

What is the purpose of the Shrinkclad installation training?

Shrinkclad Installation Training equips installation teams with best practice shrink wrap techniques to improve safety, efficiency, and overall product performance on site.

How long is the training session?

Training runs for up to four hours and is delivered by two experienced trainers.

What does the training cover?

Each Shrinkclad installation training session includes:

  • Best practice installation methodology
  • Product handling, storage, and preparation guidance
  • Fixing methods and tensioning techniques
  • Common installation errors and troubleshooting
  • Basic safety considerations specific to Shrinkclad installation
  • Q&A session
  • Access to supporting videos and documentation

How many people can attend?

Training is capped at a maximum of 10 participants to ensure it remains practical and hands-on.

What preparation is needed for training?

To ensure the training session runs smoothly, we ask our clients to provide:

  • A compliant and tagged two-bay scaffold is erected prior to training
  • Suitable rain and wind protection, preferably undercover, to ensure weather does not delay training
  • Safe access to the training area
  • Appropriate PPE for all attendees
  • Hot works permits
  • 2 x 9kg gas bottles
  • Final number of attendees and names confirmed 48 hours prior

Is installation labour included?

Each session focuses on equipping your team with best practice Shrinkclad installation techniques. While installation labour isn’t included, your crew will leave with the knowledge and confidence to install the system correctly and efficiently on site.

Does the training include live site works or supervision?

Shrinkclad Installation Training is designed as a structured learning session rather than live project delivery. It does not cover site inductions, supervision of active installations, site-specific SWMS development, or engineering certification. If you require additional support beyond training, please reach out to us.

Are scaffold, tools, or consumables supplied?

To keep the training practical and site-relevant, we run the session using your scaffold setup and equipment. This allows your team to learn in a real-world environment using the tools and materials they work with every day. You can source a quote for Shrinkclad containment, heating tools, and consumables here.

Can training dates be changed?

We understand that project schedules can shift. If travel arrangements have already been booked, date changes may involve additional costs, and cancellations within 48 hours may incur a fee. If weather becomes a concern, we’ll work with you to find the most practical solution.

Is travel included?

Training within Brisbane and Sydney metro areas is included. For training required outside these areas, additional travel and accommodation costs may apply.
